First, let me share some books from my authors pals, and then I’ll share some news!
Nicholas Harwood has inherited an unusual job—keeping the dead quiet. For several nights before All Hallows’ Eve, he pours a potion derived from a family recipe on the graves of the late residents of Dante’s Hollow to keep the dead from walking. So far, he’s been successful. But something—in addition to snow—is in the wind, and he can’t stop it alone. Nicholas and his unlikely group of companions—a druid sorcerer, a witch, and a ghost or two—are locked in a power struggle with rogue supernatural powers intent on unleashing great evil.
I’m not the first Guinevere in my family line, or even the tenth. I’m just the newest one. I’m not special. Everyone I know has abandoned me, except Grandma Gwenny, who raised me. And now she’s gone, too.
When my beloved grandma’s final act leads me on a wild hunt across oceans, I never imagined I'd end up in the mythical realm of Camelot.
Except this Camelot isn’t like any of the legends I’ve read about. It’s dark, dangerous, depraved. The land is cursed. Rebellion is afoot. King Arthur and his knights are wicked brothers… and these brothers share everything.
A girl could get lost here. Hell, I might want to get lost here.
I was brought to Camelot for a reason. Ancient prophecies say I’m more special than I thought. But what do I do when the legendary Knights of the Round Table are more villainous than the bad guys?
I should want to leave, but this place is too seductive. I’m a prisoner in this realm of sin… Do I embrace the darkness?
Author’s Note: Realm of Sin is a steamy retelling of Arthurian myths. This dark fantasy romance features multiple morally gray love interests, tons of touch-her-and-perish vibes, swordplay (of all kinds), and a heroine who refuses to be chained… unless she’s into it.
Things, They Are A’Changin’!
Been entrenched in the writing lair and working on a big project, but I believe I raised some concerns with some of my hard-core fans. I’m okay! I promise!!
Here’s the deal, with a small spoiler.
I had a rather apple-cart-turned-over incident in my writing career that kinda knocked me sideways. I’m really proud of myself, though, because I recovered very quickly! I didn’t see it as a negative. Instead, it’s a positive.
REVEAL: I’m kinda forced to reinvent my career.
Which means I have a LOT of work ahead and me and some projects got slammed onto the front burner and all other projects got shoved to the side. *sigh*
This means Crescent Alliance is on hold right now. I’m sorry, but once I make the announcement, you’ll know why. And I totally blame Amazon. Well, kinda.
I’m headed back into my writing lair, but here’s another hint…
Hint #3
A fresh start, a new identity, and something fang-tastically exciting is coming soon!
Also, just so my paid subscribers can have some quick content on Fridays, I’m going back to my 5-minute writing sprints for Fiction Friday posts. They ALWAYS end with a cliffhanger, but easier than a short story, they’re fun, and they generate new ideas for future stories.
As if I don’t have enough ideas for stories already. Sheesh!
I remember when I was a budding author («« by the way, that’s a hint for ANOTHER big project I’m working on) and I was so desperate for ideas. I couldn’t understand how writers could come up with a new novel every six months, let alone EVERY month like many do today.
HA! Now I have more ideas than I can shake a stick at. GREAT problem to have for a writer!
Okay, so back into the writing cave for me and here are some book funnel promos!!
Hugz,
