Hello and welcome to another Flash Fiction Friday where I write a weekly short story of 1000 words or less based on a prompt I grab out there somewhere in the world.

This week’s writing prompt comes from

Stop Writing Alone
, Prompt #4, where she used these really nifty box of cards to create the prompt: The Storymatic Kids! (« Affiliate link at no extra cost to you!). I might have to get a box for myself! Here are the cards she drew…

  • Protagonist: A Cookie Making Teacher

  • Topic: A Secret Door

This was a fun story! I hope you enjoy this week’s Flash Fiction Friday as much as I did writing it. I look forward to your comments!

So… Without further adieu…
