Sorry this is so late!! I actually spent the entire day trying to figure out which of your amazing comments I would turn into the conclusion of this story…and I just couldn’t decide! So I spent the rest of the day brainstorming another six episodes, where I used each of your prompts to help me come up with a serialized story.

Here is part 2 of a serial I haven’t titled yet. Maybe next week I’ll have decided on what to call the entire storyline. I’m still sticking to less than 1000 words.

Cornelius pounded on the door in the dark alley of the Chicago warehouse.

The small plate slid to the side, revealing the glare of the bouncer. “What the hell are you doing here?”

“I need to speak to Vincent.”

“You must have a death wish.” The bouncer swung the door open and grabbed a fistful of Cornelius’s shirt. “Come on in, blood bag.”

“No, no, wait!”
