We’re getting closer to the end of Season 1, and once I’m done writing it, I’ll be moving it over to Radish and publishing some new content, interweaving more chapters in Julian and Dean’s POVs starting from the beginning of the season.

Be patient with me! I’m also outlining my new series, so I’m dividing my time. Thank you in advance.

Episode 27: Chasing Destiny

Julian

I rapped my knuckle against the wooden door of the hotel room. Glancing up and down the hallway, I ensured I was alone.

Jessica had kept tabs on Maion while I was in Paris, so knew where she was at. And since Hecate had transported me to a spot not far from Maion’s location, I had no trouble catching up to her on her little road trip, wherever she was going.

No answer, but I knew she was in there.

I rapped again.

Her rapid heartbeat fluttered to my ears. I inhaled through my nose and shuddered at her scent. Now that Hecate had told me Maion was my soul mate, the intoxication I’d experienced every time I was near this woman made a lot more sense.

“You do realize I can smell your delicious scent right through this door?”

She grumbled and I couldn’t fight the curl of amusement at the corner of my mouth.

The door swung open, revealing a gorgeous, ruffled, and very pissed off Maion. Her mane of salt-and-pepper hair covered her shoulders in a tantalizing disarray. I’d only been away from her for a couple of weeks, but it took all of my willpower to keep my distance.

“How the hell did you find me?”
