We’re getting closer to the end of the first season. And I have an announcement to make… *drum roll*

Since Kindle Vella is closing down, I’ve sought out another venue to publish the serial - Radish!

For those of you who might not be familiar with it, Radish is a reading app that publishes romance stories. And this isn’t a publishing platform like Wattpad or Kindle Vella on which just anyone can publish.

Radish screens their writers.

I had to submit the first five episodes of Crescent Alliance and go through the vetting process. Which goes to show my writing has definitely improved over the years because I’ve submitted to them before and always got rejected. Yay for improvement! LOL

Also, now that I know more about my characters and their story, I’ll be adding a few more chapters to Season 1, which will include more alternating chapters between Dean and Julian. You’ll get the chance to peek more inside their heads from the first moment they meet Maion, so you’ll definitely want to check out the new episodes when I publish Season 1 to Radish.

Notice to Paid Subscribers

If you’re a paid subscriber here on my Substack, you’ll get to see those new chapters FIRST before they get published on Radish. AND you’ll still get the chance to give some input. I’ll have a questionnaire below at the end of this episode, so be sure to tell me your thoughts on what you’d like to see in these new episodes.

Episode 26: Collateral Damage

Dean

I raised my fist to knock on the farm house door, but hesitated. Dammit. I did not want to be the one to dump this shit into someone’s lap, but I also didn’t want it to come from anyone else. I felt responsible. As the leader of the pack, but also as the one who got Alex into this mess.

Alex.

I closed my eyes tight against the bloody images that were never going to fade.
