During the last episode, Maion and her friends were kidnapped by the fae and the All Father mentioned an intriguing concept. Let’s see what he was talking about…

Episode 14: Veil of Secrets

Dagda motioned for me to approach him. “Come. Sit with me.” With a wave of his hand, a chair and a small table with a bounty of fruits, roasted vegetables and meats appeared. A glass pitcher glistening with red wine levitated and poured into a waiting goblet. “You must be famished after your ordeal. We have important matters to discuss, and I want you to be at your best.”

I raised a skeptical eyebrow at the All Father, but my stomach grumbled at the aroma of the feast before me. I shrugged. Might as well enjoy a good meal during our conversation. I sat and took a sip of the sweet red wine before I filled my plate with grapes, roasted squash and potatoes, and succulent chicken. My tastebuds were in heaven and my host gave me some time to satiate myself.

“Thank you. That was amazing.” Once I refilled my goblet, I settled back with a full stomach. “So, what is this cosmic contest you mentioned?”
