I was sandwiched between these two, gorgeous men, Dean behind me and Julian in front of me. They tapped their elixirs together in their toast of partnership, drank, and set their vials back into the tray on the altar.
We waited, and being pressed between them was a hot comfort I was willing to enjoy a few moments more.
Almost simultaneously, they inhaled sharply. Dean’s arms squeezed my waist as he shuddered and pressed his cheek against my left shoulder. Julian slammed one hand to his chest and the other gripped my right shoulder as he shook, his eyes wide and mouth open.
