Current Project

UPDATE on MIDNIGHT CONQUEST - The Wild Rose Press has finally offered me a contract! Woo Hoo! I've heard good things about them ever since I spoke with some of their published authors at the Romantic Times Book Lover's Convention 2009 in Orlando, Florida. I'm looking forward to working with them. Now comes the hard part...EDITING!

Children's Book Update - Mom has been moving into her new home, so the artwork has been put on hold for a little bit. Now that she's finally getting settled in, we can finish up the last few images of WHERE ART THOU UNICORN and get it published for an autumn release. I'll be going down to Kentucky to visit her for Grandma's 90th Birthday, so it will be great to be able to take some copies of the book with and share with the family. We hope to have some book signings scheduled in time for Christmas.

As I said before, Mom is the artist. She's an amazing artist and I encourage you to visit her web site and show her some lovin'! www.MillieLouArt.com. Incidentally, Millie has a shopping cart for her web site, so now you can purchase her artwork online!

Works In Progress

Looks like I'm getting myself into the publishing business. I have two friends asking me to prepare their books for self-publishing, so I am spending a lot of time in MS Publisher and learning a WHOLE lot! By the end of this year, I should be an old hat at working with CreateSpace.com, Amazon.com's POD (Print On Demand) publishing. I'll probably write a note in my blog about self-publishing and my recommendations on when and when not to self-publish.

I've also just updated the web site for Enchanted Woodz and WE have a shopping cart now! I'm still revamping the look and feel of the site, so bear with us. The site looks like doo doo, but at least it's operational. Keep checking back for the new web site. Be sure to check out the new items we have posted on our site and it's MUCH easier to get products from us now all through PayPal.

Other Projects

I've started a new company called MaeDawn Wellness Center. Though I am not an official building and "center" just yet and working from the home, I am working with some people to see if we can get into a building by the spring. We will see. My new job as a Wellness Coach has me teaching people how to take care of their body, mind, spirit and emotions. Check out the new site at www.MaeDawn.com.

All other stories put on hold since I've been focused on MaeDawn and soon I will up to my ears in editing MIDNIGHT CONQUEST.
